Carhart Lumber is currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in O’Neill. If you enjoy working with people and take pride in helping customers find the right products for their projects, we would love to visit with you.
Responsibilities:

Assist customers with questions and product purchases

Handle daily paperwork and product ordering

Mix paint for customers

Help maintain a clean, organized store environment
Requirements:

Hours:
Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Rotating Saturday 8:00 AM – Noon

We are currently accepting applications and resumes for a full-time Building Materials Salesperson. This position offers strong potential for both financial growth and increased responsibility, and we are seeking someone interested in growing into a long-term role within our team.
Applicants should have basic knowledge of building materials and construction practices. Material estimating experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a solid construction background.
Responsibilities include:

Preparing cost estimates for new construction and remodeling projects based on blueprints

Assisting contractors and homeowners with selecting and purchasing building materials

Building strong relationships with local contractors, homeowners, and business owners to support future projects
-
Answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers
Requirements:

Knowledge of construction practices and building materials

Strong customer service and communication skills
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for insurance purposes when driving company vehicles)

What You’ll Do

Support and maintain computers, networks, POS systems, and equipment company-wide

Work within and learn our ERP systems (Eagle, Epicor, POS)

Troubleshoot issues and keep our teams up and running

Manage Wi-Fi, security systems, and user access
-
Travel between locations to provide hands-on support
